About Gordon

Gordon Duncan was born in Hackney in 1946, and has lived, worked and played in and around the east end of London all his life.  Gordon is married, with a daughter and 3 grandsons.

Gordon first visited the rainforests of  Guyana over 20 years ago, and became so hooked on the place that he has continued to spend 3 months in the rainforest every year.  A self taught naturalist, with an obsession for jaguars, Gordon has been able to observe and photograph these elusive cats on many occasions, as well as a wide variety of other animals, plants, and insects. He is also a keen fisherman, and has caught Arapaina and Lau Lau Catfish over 8 ft.

Gordon is still undertaking annual expeditions deep into the rainforest of Guyana with his amerindian friends.
